If you had a brain in your head and read a few posts before sprouting off and notice there are a lot of people here who share your view, but at least have the intelligence to string sentences together and nOtz Hev 2 yooz stoopid L33t crap to show they are 15 years old in intellect. If you have anything constructive to say be it pro or anti gkr then please say it in an intelligent manner. All comments are welcome regardless of your viewpoint. Hey, why not even try a conversation with some of these people? You might learn something. Any further use of obscenities will result in your arse being banned.

hi! troll here. i think that a troll sitting under his own bridge living his life honestly is a better existance than someone who uses people to earn money. I am aware that within a business there is always someone who earns money through the hard work of others, but a least they know this and know where there going to be in the next year, two years, exactly where they are now. mabye they would work harder if you promised them ALL promotions. And lastly just a though... instead of trying to insult my inTAleect why not try to argue that i am wrong in the things i am saying? is this impossible i wonder.(i apologize for the use of profanitys).

sorry i fogot to mention, this whole troll business, im just wondering but is this somthing that was mentioned by a member of the heirachy likle an rm or a zd? or mabye it might have been somthing said in a conference where everyone was clapping away after kancho cracked out a classic comback to anyone who might be appose to sheep on treadmills, (thats a metaphore) "LETS CALL `EM TROLLS"!! i would of taken more offence if you called me a liar.

Thats better!
A nice rational post - the kind we welcome

'Troll' is a term used on any internet forum to describe someone who comes on, posts something deliberately provocative purely to get a reaction, and Im afraid that did describe your initial entrance to this forum.
There are many people here who are well and truly aware of the clubs faults, and one of the hopes of places like this and discussion amongst members past and present is that the heirarchy will realise what the real heart and soul of the club..the students...feel.
I've lifted moderation queue restriction. I hope you will continue to post like this. You obviously have a grievance with the club (you are not alone here or in any forum) - so tell us....wassup??

okay so the problem with 'trolls' as I see it (standby for flaming!!)
see, it's like going to the datsun forum (if there is still one) and telling all and sundry how good your ford is and that datsuns stink.
you're pretty much talking to a unconvertable crowd. sure I have my issues with gkr and I tend to keep them to myself. I turn up to training try to learn as much as I can and pay my two bits. unfortunately I seem to be learning the same things over and over (oops I let an opinion slip out!)
by all means give the trolls their room to speak, but if you argue with them and beat them down they look silly, if you don't, they feel superior. 'n' I for one wouldn't like that to happen...

AFAIAC anyone can say anything they like as long as it isnt abusive or threatening in any of the usual ways. Its when its done purely to get a reaction and start a row its trolling. Posts like petes
here are very welcome indeed. Looks like there will be a few more coming soon. Bringem on

To date, I have enjoyed reading the comments on the forum and like Matt, I think a good debate is healthy and the difference of opinions on some subjects shows we all love our karate and have some passioniate views.
Let's face it, if we had all the same views, life would be pretty boring!.

One thing just occurred to me....gkr students get slagged off on other forums for posting in defence of their style in a thread criticicising it, then not ever appearing again.
It does seem that the same accusation can now be levelled at some visitors here.

That may well be true mat but those other forums you speak of are MARTIAL ART forums not a GKR based website. THe trolls seek out GKR for the simple enjoyment of having a go. AS for all you trolls have fun pretty soon you will get bored and move on to other sites but we still will be here.

The question is, WHY do they do that, 'troll around (

) looking for people to "inform" about the evils of GKR.
Something must provoke these people into making attacks on as many forums as they can.
Surely they dont wake up one morning and think; "I might go wreak havoc on the net today... yes, I'm in the mood to offend people... I think I'll pick on.... gkr/net/au today!"
It's just a pity they dont hang around long enough to listen to the reasons people continue to practise in their "flawed" style, and maybe learn a little frm them.

Well if someone who came here trolling would present another opinion other than the same old tired song I would be happy to debate the issue with them.
Until then.....
