Hey there guys and girls.
My name is Heath and I have recently joined up with GKR. I live in Sydney and train at the Chester Hill Dojo and the Plumpton Dojo. I will be grading to yellow tip very soon (did I mention I ama novice?).
A little more about me. I am a serious amature photographer and I am in the process of setting up a photography business. I am predominately digital with my photography but I also use film occassionaly. I have also just branched out to include video production in my business plan.
I also love listening to music. I listen to most styles. I will listen to anything before I make a descision on whether I like it or not. It annoys me when someone says they don't like a style of music without listening to it first. I like watching movies as well, but then again who doesn't?
I also like extreme sports, especially freestyle bmx and moountain biking. Swimming and bushwalking are two other things I enjoy doing.
I am a member of the New South Wales State Emergency Services.
Well if you have any questions, just ask.

Thanks for the warm welcome The_Numee.
If my memory serves me correctly, you are in the same zone as I am, as I think the Seven Hills and the Lalor Park Dojo's are in the same zone as the Chester Hill Dojo.

Hey, yeah, we are too! Hooray! This site is not highly populated with R27 students. We could take over!

(not likely)
*sits here for 5 minutes writing... rubbish*
I'll shutup now. I can sometimes. B)

Thanks for the welcome Matt and Brodius.
I think we should aim to get more forum members. How about a recruitment drive of sorts. I envision we each invite one person to check out the forum and possibly become members. I may start myself this very instant.

Hey CruelCheffy and Goyle.
I would love to visit WA one day. My family has a connection with Fremantle from way back in the convict days. How is the martial arts scene over there?
Goyle, I used to live in Canberra back in the mid to late 80's. Lived and went to school in Kambah, then moved to Queanbayan till the early 90's. My bro still lives there, in the Weston Creek area. Haven't been back for about 9 years, maybe longer.

Plenty of GKR dojos here in Perth trashman, you can train every day of the week from morning to the last class at 7:30! Traditionally devided into north and south of the river

, like everything else here (north is better though)
Lots of others too I believe. Never tried another style, perhaps in the future when I'm more advanced with this one.
Perth is worth a visit, nice (dare I say it) sleepy town, not as busy as the big one's over east.
Cheers

Just Sliiiightly off topic here...

Does daytime training every happen during the week, or just weekends?
My job involves working five nights per week, but I do have a few mornings off...
It would be really great if there were morning classes during my working week, because it would be rather convenient...
Any ideas? (sorry for the slight hijacking
