Hi, I know kancho trained in Goju under sensei Tino Ceberano. Shihan stacey K originally trained in shotokan to at least brown belt. What about other senior instructors martial arts experience and grade levels.

Also what major tournament results have been acheived by our regional, zone managers, and senior instructors? Any national / international medal winners we can boast about?
Matt
Dont really hear much about RM's prior history. I believe the RM of R13 was a shodan in Goju.

HI, just checked out the gkrkarate.com site. There is a section that briefly profiles the martial arts history of kancho, shihan and the zone instructors.

As far as im aware, Shihan is the only one with any real competition success (outside of GKR). And im not entirely certain what it was.

Cool - any ideas what he competed in?

I heard he was a kickboxing champ.

But he did shoto too. Fair chance he competed with that.

He in no way was a champ of any form of contact fighting in Australia. As I understand he had 1 full contact karate bout - this is hardly a champion!

I know that the RM from R15 is a 2nd Dan in Kabuto as well as Karate
