Shihan Wayne Hanley from Kokoro Ryu in Sydney will be visiting Perth on June 7-8. People who read Blitz magazine would know that he writes a regular column for them.

He teaches jujutsu and assorted weaponry including kenjutsu and hojojutsu (the art of rope restraints) both of which may prove interesting if he does some sessions on them - especially to those people who have kids biggrin.gif

Information on workshops and seminars will be made available when it comes to hand. Unless nobody is interested.

Mick - icq/aim/msn/chat when you have a mo please.......

Well it was a small group at the seminar, which makes it all the better IMO :thumbwink:

We did some tai sabaki (body shifting) exercises, did some stuff with tanbo (2ft stick) and kubotan (also known as yawara, te-no-uchi and various other names depending on the design and preference of the user) and finished off with a basic sword kata, using bokken so as not to finish with less students than we started with biggrin.gif

Great fun. I hope everyone who considered coming but didn't now regrets missing it biggrin.gif tongue.gif

I just hope that things go well for the club.
I would prefer not to say who told me though.
I just hope things go well for The club.It has alot of potential to be a great and well respected club.

I think that what he meant to say was that we are looking at making one of our other part time branches, full time too!! scratchy.gif
