Ive just got a new job as a GKR Self Defense Consultant this requires preety much cold calling houses and seeing if patrons are interested in joining GKR well the regional manager told me the average is 3 people a night which is 15 a week which is $700 a week ok $700 a week sounds good to the normal person but is this actually doable? im also abit hesistant to meet him tomorow because he wants me to pay $75 for various things.

I really would like to know some stats on how many people you actually get how many rejections you get which i thing would be a 90% to 10% ratio i would presume

i just would like some facts before i hand over my money.

There's a couple of people here that have done this job, they might be able to answer you better than I can....... What does the RM want you to hand over 75 dollars for?

I knew a couple of SDC's back in the UK, From what I remember their experiences were pretty mixed, but the ones who liked it said that it was a fairly rewarding job, but was fairly hard work though - although that could have been my old RM's way of running things, from what I heard they had fairly high monthly targets to meet.

the $75 is for the Karate uniform and the materials and the lessons for karate i know its legit company its just that what if i dont like the job? and if i do get average $700 a week like he says then i dont see the harm in taking the $75 out of my first pay?

YH, YOU ARE RIGHT TO BE WARY AND ASK QUESTIONS.

All i will say is here in the uk its getting harder to sell the dream, i would think those targets are possible, but i would imagine you would have to work dam hard, prob harder than you realise.Many have done this job and have made good money, many many many, have had to give up on it as it didnt produce what they were told it would, for many reasons.

I have done the Job- It is nothing more than a pyrimid and your at the bottom.
Self-defence consultants are illegally employed in the UK- Many cant afford to live and are promised the world, the small amount that do make it and become RMs dont make it to 1000.
Save yourself a lot of agro find another job

DON'T DO IT!

Lots and lots of people go into it but it's a club whose numbers are dropping and areas are being combined rather than opened meaning less RMs are needed meaning longer door knocking for you.

Many people have been stung by these people including me. Many people lose homes, spouses and careers because of the pressure these people put on you to sign up more people as the class numbers drop.

It's nothing more cold calling pyramid selling.

also RMs are under so much pressure to recruit (Self-Defence)Consultants.
For using the word self defence gkr should be sued most of them know very little about self defence.

RMS don't care where these people come from, they send them into peoples houses to get there credit card details, there is no CRB done on them.
GKR has no quality control- and they sign an agreement(which is illegal) which states they are nothing to do with GKR and they are independent distributors.

Just say no - your RM is a greasy pillock and is just trying to get you to make him money. Dont do SDCing.
