I love this forum to look at previous discussions on all sorts of topics, but there does not seem to be much action of late....

Have all topics been done to death and there is no other karate/MA discussion worth having? Or is this forum so good that everyone now knows everything there is to know? unsure.gif

I have a million questions and the older posts provide good food for thought - but it would be great to see people actively discussing current topics as well. (I feel a bit 'needy' being the only one to pose questions)

Am I the only one here?

Hi Kimu,

Yes, it's been fairly quiet of late, we're hoping to improve this by integrating the forum with Facebook, which should happen with our next upgrade....

As to folks posting, well we still get quite a lot of readers - mainly browsing the Kata section- which shows that people are taking an interest in what's been said.
I won't deny that it's tough to think up questions, rather then browse through and see whether it's already been answered, and we've tried to keep a balance between the technical posts and the more newbie-friendly ones!

I think people may have moved on as well, some people go and do Mixed Martial-Arts rather than Karate ( which is really why we introduced the MMA section ) some people call it quits on their training - or take a break. I know Matt and Sue both spend a lot of time working away from home, which obviously limits training, Sionnagh has been studying for his teaching degree, and in the last six months I've both emigrated AND gotten Married - which impacted on my training somewhat as you'd expect smile.gif - but I'm now training again twice a week, which I'm happy about!

But, this forum will still be here as long as I'm paying for it, I think it's worth it just for the amount of information it contains! Yes Matt I know I owe you... smile.gif

So please, keep posting questions, and don't think you're the only one here - just because it's quiet it doesn't mean there's nothing happening......
