Yeah yeah yeah, that's all good. But we all want to know how everyone went on saturday.
Like, who won medals. Did anyone take pictures. Did anyone throw up before their event. That sort of thing.

i didn't see anyone throw up...
there were a lot of shakey people (including myself) though...
and the most injuries i've EVER seen in one tournament.
several blood noses, a cut under an eye, a suspected broken jaw and many many bruises andswellings...
oh well.
none of the injuries were caused BY me or TO me so i cameout ofit ok...

There were a lot more than that.....never seen so many people walking around with ice on their heads/faces......
I personally did shocking - but Im blaming that on not training for so long before coz of the broked toe......I'm sure I left out half of sepai

Really enjoyed reffing - ring 6 rocked. Very efficiently run and everyone got a go at every job. Made it more fun than work.
Oh - and susan won

The injuries were pretty bad ay. I didn't see many of them bcoz i had to leave after my event but my sensei seems to hav come off second best. he got to the final 8 in the open but not without a few injuries.

Won 2 gold, but it came with a price, open cuts and burnt skin on my feet. But I really enjoyed myself on the tourney, bad thing was I have too much energy to use but I couldn't after losing team sparring

lol - I left then too Ian, maybe it was me

Brodius - It seemed like most were instructors, but then there were an aweful lot of them there.
Quite a few in the coloured belt divisions as well. I believe there were no serious injuries - still waiting to hear about Davids jaw however.

On the whole it was a good tournament. It was also one of the biggest, 300+ competitors. I guess when we see so many injuries, even if only minor, we need to work on control a bit more. I sometimes think that “Non contact” really means “Not a lot of Contact”. As for myself, I had a great time, and very pleased with my results ( 1 Silver, 1 Bronze). Well done all those that won medals, and all that took part.

well done btw marta. you and michelle (both yellow belts) did a fantastic job holding the entire team up on it's feet.
