Hi Folks,
Me and Matt will be looking to do an upgrade to the board very soon, and there's an option to integrate Facebook into it. In a nutshell, what this means is that members and admin will have the option to log onto the Forum using their FB login. The upgrade will also pull profiles from FB to be used here in the member profiles.
I think that these online "Blogs" are far more popular than basic Forums these days, and it may prove interesting to see what happens.....
Of course, it may all go horribly wrong as well - in which case nothing ventured and all that.......
I'd just like peoples thoughts on this, as the Forum is fairly quiet these days. But there's a goldmine of info on here which I think could be very useful and informative to both new students and Instructors alike, and I'm after any ideas and suggestions to help me rejuvenate the site.
Tom.

Hi Tom
Luddite that I am I'm having difficulty envisaging how it will work. But what the hell, give it a whirl!

Okay upgraded to the upgrade I shooda done 3 months ago. Seems the NEXT upgrade (due in a week or 4) will support this.
At the moment (from my understanding) it will link the two accounts so logging into one logs in to both, and content 'may' be accessible through f/book, with other features being added as they are developed. Profile data such as avatars, profile pics and 'about me' data will be synced from FB to the forum. This is an 'opt in' so you can of course choose not to do so.
This is a "lo-fi" version of our main content. To view the full version with more information, formatting and images, please
