First off OOPS! I didnt know there was a fitness and exercise section. I guess I should have scrolled down a bit.

Anyway...

Has anyone used kettlebells? Are they safe? Cause it seems to me any exercises that use alot of stabizer muscles can be a tad unsafe as they are not as strong as other muscles.

any opinions?

Try it and find out! biggrin.gif
Kettlebells totally rock. They are used for a total cardio/weights workout in minimal time and build the core muscles without damage, provided you don't start training with anything too heavy or advanced.

The kettlebell or girya (Russian: гиря) is a cast iron weight looking somewhat like a cannonball with a handle. Many companies produce their own brands of kettlebells and kettlebell exercise programs. Some modern kettlebells feature adjustable weights.
