Some good fights on this card. Wanderlei Silva was back to his devastating baby-eating best, destroying Keith Jardine half a minute in.

Probably most interesting was the bout of Lyoto Machida vs Tito Ortiz. Machida is apparently pure karate background, and it was as close to seeing 'WUKO sparring' in an MMA context as I've ever seen. He kept his distance and picked Ortiz off almost at will for the full 15 minutes. When it did go into a clinch, he just shrugged Ortiz off with classic tai sabaki; and he even dominated what little ground fighting there was. Ortiz was so frustrated, it was hilarious. And Machida's thigh/head 'switch kick' party piece was pure theatre. It was a nice advert for traditional/classical karate IMO.
