T'was a nice autumnal day for a relaxing jog in the park...

It was quite a nice course I thought - lots of soft grass, not too much tarmac and the hills weren't half as bad as they were made out to be.
We'd decided to run around as a team regardless, so stick together we did. To be honest, I thought Ramona's effort was a huge achievement. It was obvious she was struggling to breathe well after about 3k, and battling through that, stitch and knee pain she refused to stop and walk any of the course. I'm not sure my constant encouragement and talking to take her mind off it did any good or was just annoying, but we all made it round eventually.
We got beat by the bloke in a leprachaun suit who passed us at about 6k, but thankfully no-one in a chicken suit went past us... 36:15 for the winner...I'll have 'im next year.

Once my next grading is out the way, I think I'll put a few months specific 10k work in and go for a time somewhere around 45 mins. I'll definitely be back at the Sutton run next year to see how quick I can run it.
Thanks again for all who donated. It's what made us not turn around at the start and run towards the car park...
