An interesting little story I thought I would share and give you a laugh.

I had my godson's Christening, at a mass in a Catholic Church on Sunday! All my other godchildren are christened in the Anglican church, so this was a new experience for me.

My nephew James, who is four was lying across my lap during the service, and I was tickling his back. He says, "hang on, I will just take my shirt off". Not in the middle of church you won't, I say! Throughout the sermon the preist said about how God is always there when you need him, so my nephew raises his hand and asks the priest how come God never comes when he calls him!

The three old bidies sitting in front of me turn around and look at me like "Control your child" and I just shrugged and said "He's not mine!"

During part of the service, my 18 month old neice Emily was playing "Boo Melly" through the church pew at me, and laughing. Then at the end of a prayer, when there was silence between the end of the prayer and amen, she decided to do a very loud gurgling fart and fill her nappy. My brother and I were almost in hysterics.

Who says church can't be entertaining! lol.gif
