Sozokan Academy of Martial Arts and Fitness (Maddington) is celebrating it's tenth anniversary this month, and you're all invited to the party, being billed as a Martial Arts Extravaganza. There will be demonstrations of different arts (including aikido, jujitsu, knife combat, boxing and 'street smart self defence' among others), by some of the best MA'ists in Perth, and some by some of our own students, a sausage sizzle, and other goodies. It's all free (cept the sausagey bit!) and everybody is welcome. You'll also be able to get a pass for five free training sessions as part of the celebrations (if I can get a digital copy of the pass, I'll even post it here tomorrow).

Also, keep an eye out for an over-stressed Nooms!

I saw some of the Kempo, Arnis and BJJ demos - they looked great! Couldn't really see what the karate demo looked like from where I was standing though...

Well I did - and it was fabulous! I was enormously proud to be a KK student, and I know many were impressed by the display. I was happily telling everyone who asked that that was my instructor up there!!
