Australian martial arts is about to receive its biggest boost ever with the upcoming national television broadcast of the National All Styles (NAS) Australian Championships.
NAS struck an historic deal with Fox Sports that will see the NAS Australian Championships beamed into over two million households, pubs and clubs nationwide on PRIME TIME on February 13 at 8.30pm on Fox Sports 3.
The broadcast will feature non-stop fighting action between Australia’s best NAS competitors, plus an array of demonstrations from the country’s leading instructors.
“This is an historic event,” says NAS President Silvio Morelli. “It puts NAS right up there with boxing, cricket, rugby, tennis and other sports being broadcast nationally on Fox Sports. We will now be able to show-off the excitement of NAS to a national audience.”
The event will be commentated by the world’s leading ringside commentary duo, “The Voice” Michael Schiavello and “The Hammer” Mark Castagnini, who have called the fight shots on Fox Sports for the past ten years, and international events for New Zealand, US and Canadian pay-per-view.
