I have been given a mission of great importance. I have an aquaintance moving from Sydney to Willeton (WA) and has asked if I can track down a good Kung Fu club for his primary school aged kids. The classes will need to run after 3.30pm.

Any recommendations, the closer to Willeton the better.

Hey Darkwing. I can tell you about a great club that teaches young children in O'Connor which I believe is close to Willeton.

It is called Chinese Kung Fu and Tai Chi Academy and can be located on Hines Road. The kids classes (which are split depending on age group) are at 345 for the younger children and 445 for the older children to fit in with school times. There are also some great adults classes (16 years +) which are split into grade levels. They also offer Chi Kung, and Tai Chi classes.

It is a Choy Lee Fut Buk Sing kung fu club with additional material drawn from the Jow Gar and Northern Shaolin styles.

You can find their website at www.chinesekungfu.com.au which has some detailed information about their lineage and instructors and includes a timetable (at last).

Let me know what your friend's thoughts are.

Regards

I forwarded the info you provided onto the fella concerned, who was very appreciative. He arrived in Perth just today so it shouldn't be long before his son commences his training here. Thanks for your help.
