Hi, everybody!

I wrote in "new members" some time ago, and asked if anyone knew of a place to practice Wado Ryu! No one knew, and that's 'cos there aren't any places around Perth!
But as far as I know there will be started a club in January:D:D:D:D

Thanks to those who tried to help me, hope you're going fine!
Wish you all a very merry christmas:)

Best regards

What makes it different, or better?

Difficult to put into words. It feels better for one thing, sort of, just right.
The moves seem more natural and less forced.
I Like how they have you do all the moves whilst stepping through. Instead of standing in ready stance. In the wado class
as a white belt, I could do the sweeps and other moves reserved only for brown belts and above in GKR.
I like being tought by an actual dan grade Sensei instead of a kyu grade. A sensei with insurance and all the crudentials.

My Sensei charges £2.50 for a two hour session instead of £5.50 for one and a half hours. That pays for the hall. All the money that was left last year, he bought his regulars stuff like blitz bags for Christmas. He teaches karate because he loves it. Not to fill his back pocket.

In short, I wont go back to GKR as long as I've a hole in my......

What style do you do, Kangeroo

Shotokan.

Blimey, £2.50 is cheap! Sounds good!
