Hi there.......have just found this forum and joined up. I have been training with GKR together with my son for just over a year and we are really enjoying it. Really interesting to read other peoples experiences. I have some criticisms of the whole GKR ' way of life' but then again if they hadn't come knocking on the door we wouldn't be doing karate at all. Thought I was about 30 years too old to start karate when we did, but am hanging on in there, currently 6th kyu, and really feeling the benefits in fitness terms. Its great to have something that my 16 year old son likes doing with me as well!
