We upgraded the forum software to the lastest version a few days ago.

If you notice any changes or problems with the way the forum functions for you, please let us know either by posting in this thread or by sending either Matt or myself a PM and we'll do our best to get it ironed out as quickly as possible.

No problem, just a very slightly annoying thing I have noticed.. When you're replying to something, the clickable smilies box has become much smaller and doesn't really "fit".

Haven't noticed anything else though.

Thank you Goyle..I noticed that after the upgrade, but didn't know if it was something new or just something I'd never noticed before becauseI always use the fast reply option.

We'll see what we can find to fix it

When i post or write a PM, I get those annoying little X`s in the boxes above the posting window, Ive cleared out my cache and the temporary internet files, cleared cookies etc, but they`re still there. I've tried a couple of different browsers but it`s still the same.
Any clues?

Its a problem with the skin. Every upgrade produces inconsistencies with skins of the previous version This one worse cos we skipped an upgrade from 2.1.2 and went to 2.1.4 :sigh:

Anything like this implies you have set your firewall to 'block referrer ID'. Ive set my leech protect to only allow images to be broadcast to certain sites (people hotlink images here direct to their own sites instead of copying them to their own servers- chewing up my bandwidth). You need to set it to allow this site.
Dont worry - it doesnt mean I can hack your bank account or read your email... just that we know you are okay to send images too...
