Just because I did not have any previous experience in martial arts or was not particuarly intrested in it doesnt mean I cant be intrested & comitted now, Which for your information I am.

I thought I would have got more positive responses like great, welcome aboard, You will find it to be one of the best things you ever did.

You gave us very little information other than a vague opeining post, and when people try to take an interest in what you were talking about you gave blunt and abrupt answers. If you have a genuine interest in talking about karate (not only gkr) then you are most welcome here but please read this thread and see how you come across. If you tell us what you are talking about you will certainly find people here who have done it before and can tell you impartially what you are getting in for.

I think you'll find texman is asking you what the advert is for.... since he assumed your 'no' answer was to the SDC question...

You need to be fairly specific in your writings on a forum as written word can come across rather blunt since we don't have the option of emotions and tone of voice...


If you are talking about an SDC position let us know. There are many people on board who have tried out this position in the past and I'm sure they would be glad to help you out and offer some advice...
