Paul Marston Sensei of Sozokan Academy of Martial Arts & Fitness is hosting a workshop specifically for women on the 15th & 16th of October.

It will cover various topics including muggings, bag snatches, attempted rapes, car drags, improvised weapons, personal safety, panic psychology, legal issues and other questions raised by the group.

Paul has spent the last 8 years specialising in these preventative courses and welcomes victims into the programme to share their experiences too.

Please call 0415 232 581 for further information. thumb.gif

Thanks for dropping by Paul.
I think a workshop such as this would be of interest to most members on board here. Either to themselves or their wifes, girlfriends, sisters, or daughters...

Could I ask what area you are in please?

And i couldnt agree more, EVERY woman, regardless of age, race etc SHOULD take responsibility for their own safety, because there are plenty out there only too willing to abuse the innocent!!

Hmmm... I guess not
PaulSensei
Actually i couldnt agree more, in fact i am more than happy to do workshops for clubs and community groups and regularly do so for schools, community gruops, sporting teams, and assorted others, youth workers, St Johns etc etc These workshops can be tailored to "any" audience or need.

There are however some differences in typical capability, type of attacks and questions, and yes i know i'm being stereotypical but......hence the women's workshops.

Thanks for your interest
